Making its public debut in September of 1968, the Jaguar XJ6 both stunned and amazed people. This was a different and unique kind of vehicle that the Ford Motor Company introduced and marketed under the Jaguar brand.
At first, this vehicle was a difficult one to catch. This was due to the manufacturerâs difficulty in keeping up with the demand for this vehicle. Even those people who are trying to ask for test drives for various different purposes had to go through a hard times and had encountered problems as with regards to this. The first series of the Jaguar XJ6 held either a 4,235 cc I6 DOHC engine or a 2,792 cc I6 DOHC engine. Given as an option was a four speed manual and a Borg Warner 3 speed automatic.
