Costa Blanca, which rests just five minutes past Santa Clara, and about an hour and some outside of Panama City, is becoming a hotbed for resorts and high-rise condos. It is anchored by the Royal Decameron Beach Resort Golf & Casino. This huge project includes an all-inclusive hotel, golf resort framed by hundreds of identical villas across the road from the beach, and a Casino. It sits on a long white sand beach and has a network of 10 pools, two swim up bars and a disco.
The Playa Blanca area is also bursting with development. Already built is the Barcelo all-inclusive Playa Blanca Resort.
